葛萊美民謠天后茱蒂．柯琳斯在50年的歌唱生涯中，她的聲音感動了無數人，而她在音樂界中傳奇的一生，才是令人敬佩。
六、七0 年Judy Collins積極參與人權活動，並將民謠音樂的人道精神付諸行動，演唱政治、社會、環保等相關議題的歌曲。她曾多次抗議，呼籲結束越戰，並幫助非裔美國人在南方登記投票，更不斷努力為婦女爭取平等權和公民權而奔走，直到廿一世紀的今日，她仍持續關心社會，勞工、AIDS、人權等議題，她一生全心投入公益活動，擔任人權運動者、廢除地雷運動、聯合國親善大使、UNICEF（聯合國兒童基金會）發言人，為世界各地的弱勢族群發聲。她多次代表聯合國兒童基金會到第三世界接觸弱勢族群，這些深刻的體驗，使她體會到用音樂撫平那些受創的心靈是人生中最有意義的事。
Judy Collins的歌聲中，很難相信她曾經歷過離婚、酗酒、暴食、厭食、憂鬱症及喪子之痛。她憑著堅定的意志力渡過一切。
現年75歲的 Judy Collins，依舊將最美好的聲音，帶給需要的人，希望藉著自已的歌聲，療癒所有受傷的心靈。她將繼續在音樂的路上努力前進，每年至少舉辦80場以上的演唱會及無數場的心靈及預防自殺巡迴演講。
